As a seasoned business leader and practice builder, Nina Abdelmessih is Chief of Operations and External Relations for the Canadian practice of The Boston Consulting Group, a global management consulting firm considered the leader on business strategy for Fortune 500 companies across a wide array of industries from retail, financial, pharmaceutical, mining, not-for profit to media and entertainment.
Nina has over 21 years of experience at The Boston Consulting Group, with a unique career path that spans both leading global and national operations, and C-suite client service. In her current role as Chief of Operations and Head of External Relations for BCG Canada, Nina oversees over 200 Consulting and Business Services Team members across three offices, Toronto, Montreal and Calgary.
Her mandate includes orchestrating a blueprint for the continued growth of the Canadian practice, and developing partnerships with key Canadian leaders and organizations to further social and commercial ventures and impact.
Before her current position leading the Canadian practice, Nina spent almost a decade as the Global Executive Manager who launched and led the Marketing, Sales and Pricing Practice, a new functional practice for BCG internationally. She also oversaw the creation and ongoing management of the Center for Consumer and Customer Insight (CCCI), which uncovers leading edge ideas for client strategies. Nina grew these functions into thriving practices with more than 650 consultants and $500 million in revenues.
Nina moved into the area of operations leadership after working in client service for BCG as a consultant, project leader, and principal. She partnered with clients across a broad range of industries, including financial services, consumer goods, and retail, with deep functional expertise in marketing, sales, pricing, and consumer insight.
Prior to joining BCG, Nina worked in product management for Kraft Foods Canada.
