Amy will uphold an impressive reputation at Vitamin Angels. In only 20 years, Vitamin Angels has become the second-largest non-profit mobilizer and distributor of vitamin A in the world. This work is critically needed, as there are over 190 million children under the age of 5 around the world who suffer from vitamin A, iron, and zinc deficiency. For such a valuable mission, a person with deep knowledge of the corporate environment was needed to manage more than 120 national and international corporate partners to Vitamin Angels. Amy’s previous record in the corporate world, as well as her ability to forge impressive and innovative partnerships, made her an exceptional candidate for the position.

Vitamin Angels is defined by its innovative approach, which allows it to reach the unreachable worldwide. Amy has shown constant innovation throughout her 17-year career in marketing and market development for global brands. DRand Vitamin Angels were convinced that Amy could bring this same brand promotion to Vitamin Angels.  Amy had previously served as the Global Marketing Director of Liv Cycling and held several positions with Deckers Outdoor Corporation. She has worked with high-profile partners in multiple roles, and laid the foundation for several long-lasting partnerships. In her position as Vitamin Angels Senior VP of Operations, she will be responsible for enlisting corporate support and ensuring that Vitamin Angels’ lifesaving work is known across the country and around the world. Amy earned her BS at the University of Nevada, Reno.

DRis happy to announce and congratulate Colleen Zakrewsky as the next Chief Development Officer for FINCA International. As the next FINCA CDO, Colleen will play an instrumental role in empowering enterprising individuals and communities around the world.

DRand FINCA worked hard to find the right candidate that could effectively manage the deep responsibility of the position. The CDO of FINCA would be required to bridge the donor and impact investment world to support programs of global reach. All facets of fundraising, including small donors, major gifts, foundations, and grants, as well as investments from the public and private sectors are needed to support FINCA’s work. Just as FINCA uses its resources to achieve projects that create ripple effects in communities around the world, the next FINCA CDO would need to creatively utilize massive returns in funding.

DRidentified Colleen as the perfect candidate who could achieve these impressive rates of growth. She had consistently secured large gifts for her organizations and possessed a collaborative nature with both senior leaders and large staff that would ideally serve FINCA’s needs. Her previous experience living in Côte d’Ivoire for a year gave her unparalleled experience with the local populations that FINCA seeks to directly connect with.

Additionally, Colleen has a long history of serving the underserved. During her extensive 25-year fundraising career, she has served multiple roles within the American Red Cross and the Elizabeth Glazer Pediatric AIDS Foundation. Most recently, she served as the Vice President for Marketing, Development, and Communications at Women for Women International. Her marketing and development experience in that role would make for a seamless transition with the private and public donors of FINCA. Colleen received her Bachelor’s Degree from Bucknell University and her Master’s Degree in Strategic Communications from American University.

Forbes Magazine has ranked Development Resources inc. (DRi) one of the best Executive Search Firms in the United States in its inaugural 2017 list of executive and professional recruiters.

In partnership with the global data analytics firm Statista, Forbes developed its recommendations from an initial pool of more than 4,000 recruiters working in the U.S. today. After an extensive search, DRis pleased to announce Joyce MacDonald as Greater Public’s President and CEO.

Greater Public provides national leadership in the development of innovative business practices that help communities sustain high-quality public media. With over 250 public media members, it is poised to play a leading role in fostering the sector’s creative response to rapid industry changes—including but not limited to threats of federal funding reductions, the sale of university radio stations, and shifts in demographic media usage patterns.

Joyce replaces longtime Greater Public President Doug Eichten, who led the organization for over two decades. After working in tandem with Mr. Eichten, Joyce fully assumed her President and CEO duties on May 15th. Working from a strong foundation, as Greater Public’s President Joyce will lead the network in creating and evolving innovative financial models for nonprofit media stations, and continue Greater Public’s reputation as a pioneer of new methods in the sector.

DR identified Joyce as a passionate advocate for public media, as her career in the sector spans more than 18 years. Paul Jacobs, Greater Public’s Board Chair, praised Joyce’s experience, versatility, and understanding of the sector’s obstacles. Before moving to Greater Public, Joyce served in a number of rolls at NPR, advancing to be the CEO of National Public Media and serving as Interim President. She possessed invaluable experience in communicating with network affiliates that would be critical to the success of Greater Public’s President. Joyce was  serving as the Vice President of Journalism for the Corporation of Public Broadcasting when DR identified her as a perfect fit for Greater Public’s needs. She earned her B.S. in Business Administration from Stonehill College before receiving her M.S. in Broadcast Administration from Boston University’s College of Communication.
