Development Resources, inc. (DRiWaterstone) is pleased to announce the placement of the Director of the Capital Campaign at the National Archives Foundation, the non-profit partner to the National Archives and Records Administration.
DRiWaterstone’s CEO Jennifer Dunlap partnered with the Executive Director of the National Archives Foundation to identify a top-notch fundraising leader to take responsibility for the Foundation’s comprehensive, multi-year $100M We the People campaign. We the People is designed to secure transformational support for the National Archives’ civic education and outreach efforts, making the most valuable documents in the history of the United States accessible and relevant to more of the country’s citizens.
Today we recognize Matt Banks for becoming the National Archives Foundation’s Director of the Capital Campaign. Matt has an accomplished fundraising career in nationally important preservation institutions. Matt most recently served as Senior Director of Development with the National Trust for Historic Preservation, where he managed 45% of the organization’s fundraising and increased annual revenue from $4.5M to $8M. In his previous position as Vice President of Principal Gifts at the National Park Foundation, Matt worked closely with leadership, Board members, and staff to develop and implement a principal gifts program.
Congratulations to Matt and the National Archives Foundation—we look forward to seeing their success together.
