DRiWaterstone is pleased to announce our placement of the Chief of Staff at Opportunity@Work, a non-profit social enterprise pioneering new ways to connect people to well-paying career opportunities in the contemporary economy.
DRiWaterstone worked with the CEO of Opportunity@Work, the former Obama administration official Byron Auguste, to recruit a Chief of Staff to be a close partner in running the entire organization. The Chief of Staff is charged with leading internal and external communications, coordinating educational institutions and employers across the country, and being a sophisticated thinker capable of synthesizing and executing a range of ideas to achieve the CEO’s vision of work in the 21st century.
Today we congratulate Ellen Ochs on becoming Opportunity@Work’s Chief of Staff. Ellen has more than three decades of professional experience in a multitude of leadership positions at distinguished organizations. Most recently, Ellen served as Director of Special Initiatives for The Brookings Institution’s Centennial Scholar Initiative, where as a senior advisor and member of the management team, she created and managed an international network of public, private and civic thought leaders and urban practitioners and directed public and private convenings. Ellen was also previously the Chief of Staff for the Fannie Mae Corporation, where she worked for six years.
DRi congratulates Ellen and Opportunity@Work – we look forward to seeing their success together.
