DRiWaterstone is excited to announce the completion of our search for a Station Manager at North Country Public Radio, a public radio station that consistently punches above its weight and touches lives far beyond the geographic reach of its transmitters.
DRiWaterstone’s COO Nancy Racette guided the complex institution—a member-supported NPR station owned by St. Lawrence University—through a methodical search process to identify the right leader. Working with both high-level university administrators and the talented NCPR staff, DRiWaterstone built a pool of non- and for profit media leaders who could sustain the station’s value to the campus, community, and country.
Today we announce that Mitch Teich will serve as the next Station Manager for North Country Public Radio. Mitch brings over 25 years of media and communications experience to NCPR, including leadership roles at public radio stations across the country. Mitch most recently served for more than a decade as Executive Producer and Co-Host of Milwaukee Public Radio’s Lake Effect, a celebrated weekday news magazine. Mitch previously served as News Director at Arizona Public Radio and as a reporter and producer for Minnesota Public Radio.
We congratulate Mitch and North Country Public Radio—we look forward to seeing their success together.
