American Research Center is Egypt (ARCE) is seeking a US based Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a strong accounting background to manage the finances of one of the leading global forces in facilitating research and collaborative partnerships in Egypt. As the organization’s primary financial officer, the CFO oversees all financial management, accounting, financial operations, and policy & asset control. The CFO serves as an advisor on all financial matters and provides guidance and support to enable the Board of Governors to carry out timely and effective fiduciary oversight to achieve ARCE’s strategic goals.
The ideal candidate will be a CPA with 10 to 15 years of broad finance and management experience, including expert-level knowledge of financial systems, software, accounting, business practices, and financial operations for non-profit organizations. International experience and knowledge/cultural understanding of Egypt and the Middle East is highly desirable.
