Biography

In her current role, Amanda oversees several programs and initiatives which foster a strong and supportive corporate culture at Saskatchewan Telecommunications (SaskTel).  SaskTel is the leading Information and Communications Technology (ICT) provider in Saskatchewan, with over $1.2 billion in annual revenue and approximately 1.4 million customer connections.

As a leader within the Human Resources team, Amanda oversees SaskTel’s Culture Strategy and leads cross-functional teams to ensure SaskTel hires employees, and develops leaders, for culture fit.  She is passionate about developing a culture that drives high employee engagement and delivers strong results from a business, customer and people perspective.  Amanda leads the annual employee engagement survey, working closely with the Executive and partnering with all divisions to assess results, develop and execute action plans to continue to raise the bar.  Passionate about the workforce, Amanda is the co-chair of SaskTel’s Psychological Health and Safety Committee and the leader of Workforce Planning, ensuring that SaskTel has the right skillsets for continued long-term success.

Amanda has over 18 years of experience in Marketing, Strategy/Strategic Planning, and Human Resources.  She holds a Business of Administration Degree from the University of Regina, where she was the recipient of the University Prize in Administration, an award given to the most distinguished graduate.  Amanda is a certified Strategic Workforce Planner, Human Capital Strategist, Strategic HR Business Partner, and Change Manager.
