Dr. San Ng, MBA, PhD is Interim CEO of Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care, Canada’s largest not-for-profit long-term care organization complemented by an extensive spectrum of community-based services for seniors, caregivers, and families. San served on the Board of Yee Hong for eight years and was Board Chair for the past two years. Prior to her current role, for 25 years San was CEO of Vision & Results Inc., an innovative management consulting firm, and held progressive leadership roles at KPMG, Bank of Montreal and Boehringer-Ingelheim.
San is passionate about building collaborative cultures and driving innovative, collective leadership towards a bold vision of an inclusive, equitable society where every person can be themselves, contribute their strengths, and live their lives to the fullest. San has worked with hundreds of organizations across the health, social services, financial services and pharmaceutical sectors to drive innovation and growth through elevating governance, strategy and operations to new heights. San believes that fundamentally it is the people who are an organization’s greatest asset and define an organization’s culture by living its values every day. Achieving innovative and breakthrough performance requires formal and informal leaders to respect, entrust and empower others within a diverse, inclusive and collaborative environment.
San holds a PhD from the University of Toronto, Dalla Lana School of Public Health – Institute of Health, Policy, Management and Evaluation, an MBA from McMaster University, and a BSc. from the University of Alberta. San is member of the Canadian Evaluation Society, Past Co-Chair of the Canadian College of Health Leaders GTA Chapter, and Past Committee Chair of the Canadian Association of Management Consultants.
