Bruce Bowser

Bruce Bowser joined the Waterstone Human Capital team as Managing Director, Culture Talent Management and Culturepreneur Partners in July 2021.

Bruce Bowser is a highly respected Canadian business leader and the Chairman and former CEO of AMJ Campbell Van Lines. Under his leadership AMJ grew into an internationally respected brand. Originally from Halifax, Bruce served as President and CEO for AMJ Campbell’s parent company, CamVec Corp., while they were a publicly traded TSE Company until he led a management bid to take the company private in 2002. In that capacity, Bruce lead eight separate business divisions in 50 locations across Canada with over 115 operations, and more than 2,800 staff.

A well-known business authority, Bruce is frequently sought out by media to provide his innovative and entrepreneurial point-of-view. He is known for being a champion of creating a high-performance culture that produces results, and he co-wrote his first book in 2018 The Focus Effect on work-life balance with his co-author and good friend, Dr. Greg Wells which has had an immense and positive impact of the lives of other entrepreneurs and leaders.

Bruce values the importance of giving back and has served on many private boards including FYIdoctors, The National Club, Atlas Canada, the National Ballet School of Canada, and Canada Company. Bruce also served as Past President of Teen Ranch Foundation, and Past President of the Halifax/Dartmouth YMCA.

An avid pilot, Bruce lends his time to supporting the Royal Canadian Air Force and our Canadian Armed Forces. He was appointed to Honorary Colonel (RCAF) in December 2017.
