With the firm since 2009, Jennifer specializes in senior-level search across a variety of industries on behalf of Waterstone’s clients, placing candidates in leading roles throughout the Greater Toronto Area, Southwestern Ontario and Ottawa. She has also led senior assignments across Canada and the U.S., as well as in the U.K and Europe.
Operationally, Jennifer has led Waterstone’s positioning and branding, marketing and communications, the research and client services group, in-house recruitment and talent management, as well as corporate services and IT.
Jennifer started her career back in the day as a summer intern at The Hamilton Spectator. After working in television, she then moved over to content production, at Citytv, where she was the producer and senior manager of the annual ideaCity Conference, a position she held for seven years. As an entrepreneur, she co-ran a successful public relations and communications firm from 2003 to 2009, working with a number of national, high-profile corporate and cultural clients, before she moved over to Waterstone – where she found her true calling.
A graduate of Queen’s University with a BA Honours in political studies, Jennifer also holds a post-graduate journalism degree from Ryerson University. She is fluently bilingual.
