We are leading the search for a bilingual Area Manager, on behalf of our client – an award-winning retailer, manufacturer, and leader in the home fashions industry.

This role is a newly created position and will manage, provide hands-on support and assume overall responsibility for the success of four showrooms (retail locations) in the Ottawa, Ontario area and in Gatineau, Quebec. After spending time learning the business themselves, the Area Manager will ultimately ensure store managers are equipped with the tools, knowledge and people required to run a profitable showroom.
Leading a team, the Area Manager, will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of the Ottawa Gatineau region. He/she will create strategies to meet regional sales objectives and ensure profitability; coach and develop team members; build trusting relationships with store managers; and, maximize customer satisfaction.

- Bilingualism – in French and English
