Chief People Officer

We’re leading the search for Chief People Officer (CPO) on behalf of our client, a Canadian-based technology-forward company with true global scale. The CPO is a key member of the leadership team responsible for organizational human capital strategy, as well as stewarding culture, training, talent acquisition, total rewards, development and on-boarding, diversity and inclusion, and leading a high-performing people function for the organization.
They are responsible for developing and stewarding a global talent strategy to ensure the organization has the capabilities and structures to meet the needs of today, and the resources and processes to meet the needs of the future – all while delivering a world-class culture and employee experience. Finally, they will partner with the Board to help devise a human capital and workforce planning strategy that will set the organization up for success now and in the future.
Success in this position requires: strong enterprise leadership capabilities; the ability to think strategically and make complex decisions; experience with coaching; a high degree of emotional intelligence; the ability to lead effectively through change; the ability to build relationships and collaborate across all levels and areas within the organization.
