We’re leading the search for a Director, Corporate Development on behalf of our client, North American leaders in acquiring and enhancing software businesses.  Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Director, Corporate Development will be an integral member of the senior leadership team. They will work closely with the CEO, CFO and other business leaders in helping to lead the growth of the company and in continuously evaluating the short- and long-term objectives of the business.

The Director, Corporate Development will be responsible for identifying and evaluating potential acquisition opportunities, driving the development of the company’s overall acquisition strategy, and leading the business due diligence process for potential acquisition prospects. The ideal candidate will have experience: building and developing relationships with business owners; building a pipeline of acquisition opportunities; effectively performing initial qualification of target companies to ensure they meets acquisition criteria; building reporting and automation around the reporting and forecasting of the pipeline across verticals, deal stages, size, etc.; leading the preparation of investment materials and strategies for senior management and the board; and participate in the negotiating and drafting of letters of intent. Experience in the technology sector would be highly valued.
