We’re searching for a Machining Leader on behalf of our client, a global leader in the machining industry. If you’re a results-oriented leader who has 15+ years of experience in a fabrication or machining environment and a strong working knowledge of all manufacturing processes, this could be the role for you.

Reporting to the President, the Manufacturing Leader will lead the organization’s ability to develop staff and train others to solve the most complex technical problems. A key relationship builder, they will work closely and collaboratively across internal and external stakeholders to help ensure the continued success and growth of the business. The experience in leading machine shop operations for large, heavy, complex and high precision jobs are required for this opportunity.

Key responsibilities include: design and build an organizational structure and operation focused on excellence and efficiency; lead and motivate a high-performance team and champion a strong, collaborative, results-focused culture; ensure oversight and management of safety and quality standards; collaborate with internal teams on contract review; define process plans for all new work; monitor performance to expectations throughout the manufacturing process; and maintain a database of completed jobs and key learnings in support of continuous improvement efforts.
