We’re looking for a Vice President, Marketing on behalf of our client, a leading manufacturer for innovate national and private label brands. This is a new role in a fast growth consumer business. Key responsibilities include: leading the brand marketing, shopper (retail accounts) marketing and in house creative teams; developing programs to ensure team members are equipped to achieve established targets and KPIs; optimizing creative development and production to build brands; gathering market intelligence on key competitors and using the data to develop a plan to differentiate the company’s products; building relationships with the marketing and senior management teams including the digital, operations and manufacturing, supply chain, finance and sales departments; being accountable for ensuring the integrity, quality and performance of design and development.
The ideal candidate will be a strong relationship-builder with exceptional business acumen. They will: bring an industry leading approach to brand marketing, shopper marketing, and creative; be a great leader and mentor for a high performing team; have a history of managing other leaders, driving results, and implementing great brand, consumer, retail and creative in an environment where digital and e-commerce is growing fast; have a track record of meeting or exceeding targets in an entrepreneurial manner.
