Richard Beed

Richard Beed brings more than 30 years of HR executive experience gained with major organizations, including Fujitsu, Nortel Networks, TELUS, Central 1 and his most recent role as VP People and Culture at YVR Airport Authority. In Richard’s current role, he is responsible for all of the people-focused areas of business including HR, learning and development and health and safety.

Richard brings more than 31 years of HR executive experience gained with major organizations, including Fujitsu, Nortel Networks, TELUS, Central 1 and his most recent role as VP People and Culture at YVR Airport Authority. In Richard’s current role, he is responsible for all of the people-focused areas of business including HR, learning & development, and health & safety.

Richard’s leadership style is best described as open-minded, collaborative, engaging and empowering. He holds a master’s degree in Personnel Management and an Applied Science degree from Kingston University in the UK.

Richard is also the chair of Marineview Housing Society.
