SAMUEL (SAM) SCHNEIDER is President and Chief Executive Officer of C.R. Wall & Co. Inc. (CR Wall), a national application solution distributor serving Canada’s gas energy sector. Across more than three decades with the company, Sam has been the architect of the strategic vision that transformed CR Wall’s identity, market position, and enterprise value. His leadership has driven landmark milestones, including ISO 9001 certification, Accreditation by Measurement Canada, and the full integration of enterprise systems across SAP and Salesforce initiatives, establishing CR Wall as a modern, scalable national platform. In 2025, under his stewardship, CR Wall was honoured as a winner of Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures™. This distinction reflects Sam’s deeply held conviction that a high-performance culture is the foundation of sustained, profitable growth.

A respected voice in his industry for over thirty years, Sam has helped shape the standards and direction of Canada’s energy sector. He has been a member of the Canadian Gas Association (CGA) for more than two decades, contributing to its conference and Standard of Operation committees and serving on its Board of Directors as the representative for the Supplier and Manufacturing Sector. He also serves on the Canadian Standards Association’s (CSA) Strategic Steering Committee for liquid and gas energy systems. He is an active member of the American Gas Association (AGA) and numerous other industry bodies, bringing a governance-minded, standards-driven perspective to the boardroom.

A member of YPO since 2009, Sam joined through the Great Lakes Ontario Chapter, where he served on the Board of Directors and as Forum Chair, helping to establish and develop the chapter’s forums. He holds an Executive MBA and has continually invested in his leadership development, completing the QuantumShift program at the Ivey Business School and the YPO Leader & Entrepreneur Programme at London Business School. Together, these experiences have sharpened a leadership philosophy grounded in strategic clarity, operational discipline, and the conviction that strong cultures outperform.

Born in Colombia and proud to have called Canada home for more than 4 decades, Sam is based in Cambridge, Ontario. A devoted husband, father, and stepfather to five children, his family remains his greatest priority and source of pride. Outside the boardroom, he is an enthusiastic home cook, an amateur golfer, hockey player, and tennis player, and an avid traveller with a lasting appreciation for good food, fine wine, and the experiences that come from exploring the world.
