Robert Varga

Robert joined Insurance Insight Inc. in 2001 as Vice-President of Sales & Marketing and General Manager with responsibility for sales, marketing, and business development.  In 2015, he was appointed President and CEO and currently oversees all international operations, program development, and corporate relations.  

Robert also co-founded TradeTracker Inc., an on-line trade appraisal tool which was acquired by DealerTrack Canada in 2010.

Prior to this, Robert held positions in the automotive, financial and sporting goods industry verticals with PHH Arval Canada (now Element Fleet Management), Copelco Capital (now CitiCapital Equipment Finance), Applewood Chevrolet Buick GMC and AmerSports Canada.

Robert holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Guelph, with a double major in Management & Economics and has also completed The Executive Leadership Program with ING Insurance (now Intact Insurance) and the DeGroote School of Business Executive Management Program.

Most recently, Robert joined the advisory board for a Canadian start-up in the Electric Vehicle space called Variablegrid Adaptive Power Inc.

Robert is a resident of Burlington, Ontario where he lives with his wife Rebecca of 29 years.  Robert has 3 children; Benjamin (26) who currently works in the insurance industry and played NCAA hockey and golf, Lucas (24) who is also working in the insurance industry and played Canadian University Football and Daisy (19) who currently plays Canadian University Hockey majoring in Kinesiology.
