Noura Gharibo Shaw

Noura Gharibo Shaw is a healthcare executive with over 26 years of experience in the hospital sector. Noura holds a Bachelor of Commerce, a Master of Human Resources Management and is a Certified Human Resources Leader. Throughout her career, Noura has exhibited a values-based leadership style that focuses on innovation, inclusion, and empowerment.  Noura is known as a leader of influence, integrity, compassion and courage with a strategic systems-lens approach. 

During her career, Noura has worked at various hospitals ranging from acute care, rehabilitation, long-term care, academic health sciences and ambulatory care.

As the Chief Human Resources Officer at the Scarborough Health Network, Noura plays a senior leadership role in the development and delivery of the People Strategy, shaping organizational culture, talent strategy, and employee development programs. Noura’s professional passion is enhancement of the people experience, and fostering an environment where everyone can thrive and contribute to the organizational vision.

Along with being a member of the 2025 Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures Board of Governors, Noura also serves on the Board of Directors for Healthcare Collaborative Benefits and is a Board Member and the Chair of the Governance Committee of the Board for York Hills Centre for Children, Youth and Families.
