Mike Burgess

Mike Burgess is Vice President, People and Culture at CAA Atlantic, where he leads the organization’s people strategy, talent development, leadership growth, and culture transformation initiatives across Atlantic Canada. With more than 20 years of progressive human resources and leadership experience, Mike has built a reputation for creating high performing, people centred workplaces that drive both employee engagement and organizational success. 

Since joining CAA Atlantic in 2022, Mike has played a key leadership role in advancing the organization’s commitment to employee experience, leadership development, and workplace culture. Under his leadership, CAA Atlantic earned recognition as one of Atlantic Canada’s Top Employers and was a recipient of Waterstone Human Capital’s Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures award in 2026. Known for his collaborative leadership style, strategic business acumen, and passion for helping individuals and teams reach their full potential. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick and is a respected voice in the areas of culture, leadership, and talent development.
