Victoria Li

Victoria Li is the Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer at Alberta Blue Cross, where she leads the People, Learning and Trusted Partner functions. She is passionate about building high-impact organizations, developing talent and creating cultures where people and businesses can thrive.

Prior to joining Alberta Blue Cross in 2026, Victoria held senior leadership roles with Petro-Canada and Suncor Energy spanning human resources, sales and marketing. She also led management consulting work at Capital Power leading a Supply and Trading Transformation. Throughout her career, she has had the privilege of working with organizations across every province and territory in Canada and across virtually every commercial and industrial sector. These experiences have shaped her perspective on leadership, organizational effectiveness and culture, and reinforced her belief that people are at the heart of every successful organization and community.

Victoria’s work focuses on helping organizations create the conditions for performance, growth and long-term success through strong leadership, healthy workplace cultures and engaged teams. She is recognized for bringing together people strategy and business strategy to enable organizational success.

Committed to giving back to her community, Victoria currently serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of Discovery House and is helping lead the organization’s capital campaign in support of women and children fleeing domestic violence.

Born and raised in Calgary, Victoria has also lived in Vancouver and Toronto before returning home to Alberta to raise her family. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling, supporting her sons’ sporting pursuits and discovering new cities through their food and culture.
