Tennyson Devoe
Tennyson Devoe is the Vice President of Human Resources at Purolator. In this role, he leads a national HR team who support the talent management, training, development, safety, and wellness of more than 15,000 professional and frontline employees. He is also responsible for driving Purolator’s strong employee engagement and award-winning company culture, while advancing employee-centric strategies that support the achievement of Purolator’s long-term growth strategy.
Under Tennyson’s leadership, Purolator has won a number of major awards and accolades including Canada’s Best Talent Management Strategy, in 2020, Canada’s Best Learning and Development Strategy in 2021 (CHRA); gold awards for AR and VR training for frontline employees at Purolator’s New Ontario Hub, in 2022 (Brandon Hall); OHS Honors Gold Award for Safety Culture and OHS Honors Silver award for Psychological Safety in 2023 (OHS Canada), and Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Culture awards in 2022 and 2024 (Waterstone).
Known for his passionate and innovative leadership style, Tennyson brings than more than 25 years of experience leading various Human Resource functions with major organizations including Telus, Groupon, and Canada Post. He holds both a Master’s in Organizational Development and Change, and a Master’s in Education.
