We’re on the search for a Business Development Manager on behalf of our client, a leader in the metal recycling industry — a vital and rapidly evolving sector. The New Business Development Manager will be responsible for acquiring new clients and driving high sales volumes by managing the entire sales process from prospecting through to close. This individual will proactively identify and engage potential clients through both outbound prospecting and inbound opportunities, while strengthening relationships through regular engagement and face-to-face meetings. They will organize and manage a robust book of business, maintaining detailed and accurate records of all sales-related activities, and ensure the successful rollout of services to customer employees.
This role requires a driven, collaborative professional who can work closely with the account management team to support existing customers, facilitate the renewal process, and ensure customer satisfaction and successful project execution. The successful candidate will also conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, stay informed about industry trends and competitors, and develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
